This series brings my painting and jewellery practices together through embroidery. I print my paintings onto paper, place jewellery designs directly onto them, and stitch the two into one physical image. The work plays with contrast: cheap paper against precious materials, hours of painting and handwork against the few seconds it takes to scan and digitalise the final piece.
